Typically, Face to face therapy sessions last about 50-60 minutes, depending on your child’s needs and your preferences.

Observing how your child engages in play and completing formal assessments
Discussing the best therapy plan moving forward

Absolutely! We encourage caregivers to be involved during sessions to reinforce skills and strategies at home

No referral is required to access occupational therapy services. However, we are always happy to collaborate with other professionals involved in your child’s care.

Therapy can be funded under:
NDIS plans (self-managed or plan-managed)
Medicare rebates from a GP or Specialist (Paediatrician or Psychiatrist)
Private health insurance

Yes, this process has been thoughtfully designed to give us a comprehensive understanding of your child, ensuring the information we gather is thorough and aligns with your family’s needs.

Please bring any relevant reports, assessments, and contact details to any other people who are important in your child’s care team. This will help us get a clearer picture of their needs.

We provide regular updates on your child's progress, including goals achieved and areas to focus on. You are also welcome to ask questions at any time.

Yes. We require at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to adjust our schedule and offer the appointment time to other families.
For example:
A 9:00am Monday appointment must be cancelled by 9:00am Saturday.
A 9:00am Wednesday appointment must be cancelled by 9:00am Monday.
If a public holiday falls within the 48 business hours, the notice period moves to the previous business day at the same time.
A full charge will be issues minus travel km’s if a session is cancelled within the 48 hour period.

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Where possible, we will work with you to offer alternative options, such as:
A telehealth parent consultation
Rescheduling within the same week (subject to clinician availability)
Providing home-based activities to help your child continue working towards their goals
These options help ensure continuity of care and ongoing progress, even when plans change.

Yes, we offer telehealth sessions as an option for families who prefer remote therapy.
This can be especially useful for families in remote areas or those who prefer to stay home.
