Occupational Therapy for Children
Sprout Kids Therapies provides paediatric occupational therapy services for children who may need support to develop the skills required for everyday activities.
Our therapy focuses on helping children participate more confidently and independently in their daily routines.
Services are provided in natural environments including:

• School or daycare
• Community settings
Services can be funded by:
• NDIS (Self-Managed & Plan-Managed)
• Medicare Rebates
• Privately (with option to acces Private Health Insurance)
Services
Initial Assessment Process & Costs
We offer a comprehensive assessment process which involves getting to know your child and families needs, standardised assessment and developing goals that are meaningful to your child and your family.

The process begins with a 50-minute parent consultation via Google Meet. This session allows time to discuss your child’s developmental history, current concerns, priorities, and goals.
Following the consultation, 30 minutes additional time is allocated for clinical documentation, case notes, scheduling, and preparation for the face-to-face assessment session.
Cost: $259.95

This stage includes a 50-minute assessment session with your child, where the therapist will complete activities and assessments tailored to the areas of need identified during the parent consultation.
After the session, 30 minutes is allocated for assessment scoring, analysis, and clinical interpretation, along clinical documentation.
Cost: $259.95 + travel costs

Following the assessment, time is dedicated to therapy planning and goal development.
A written summary outlining recommended therapy goals and focus areas will be prepared and provided to your family to support collaboration and guide future therapy sessions.
This will be billed alongside your face-to-face initial assessment

Ongoing Therapy Services & Fees
All services are provided in line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, with an hourly rate of $193.99.
Ongoing Therapy Sessions
Families can choose between two session lengths depending on their child’s needs:
50-minute face-to-face session – $161.02
60-minute face-to-face session – $193.99
Each therapy session also includes additional non–face-to-face time to ensure sessions are well planned and documented. This includes:
Session planning (10 minutes) – $32.97
Administration (20 minutes) – $65.96
*Stakeholder Liaison (10 minutes) – $32.97
(Includes clinical documentation, case notes, and communication with families or relevant supports.)
*Only for families who are not present during the session. This will include a email summary of the session.
Travel Fees
Travel is billed in accordance with NDIS guidelines and includes:
$97.00 per hour for travel time (maximum of 30 minutes each way)
$1.00 per kilometre travelled
Every effort is made to minimise travel costs for families by scheduling sessions with clients located near one another where possible.
Non-Face-To-Face Supports
Additional services such as assessments, collaboration with schools or other professionals, resource development, and report writing are billed at the NDIS hourly rate of $193.99, charged in 10-minute increments, in line with NDIS requirements.
